Outdoor Learning

We have been taking advantage of the nice weather and doing a lot of learning outdoors. We started with some orienteering activities and last week we even did a literacy lesson up at Muddisdale. We had to read clues with a partner, then go and hunt to find the right answers which were hidden under cones! There were even some ‘red herrings’ thrown in to keep us guessing!

Here we are enjoying outdoor learning!

  1. You all tried very hard to find the clues hidden by Steph and me. Most of you did really well, although the closest clue to everyone proved to be the hardest for you all to find,(the fluffy chick), you looked to far away and needed a clue where to look. The weather was good and you all seemed to be happy to tramp all over Muddisdale to find the clues. Well done P2T. Thank goodness the photos turned out ok, as I was in charge of the camera. 2. That was very good that you got to go a nice walk when there is nice weather :) I really want to go to Muddisdale with your class as it looks very fun. When you all get into P3 you might do something about the Green Man and you will have to go to Muddisdale and make him. I am looking forward to see your next adventure as they all look very very good. William said the fluffy chick took him and his partner a very long time to find.
